Polish Wedding Tradition
June 5, 2007
Years ago, after the ceremony, the bridal couple would enter their reception hall where the bride would remove her veil and the groom would put on a funny hat.
For the bride, this symbolized the end of her single life and the beginning of one as a married woman. For the groom, wearing the funny hat symbolized the wish he had for a lifetime of happiness and joy.

Feel great and look relaxed on your wedding day
June 5, 2007
No one wants to look nervous or stressed on their wedding day. It’s the day you’ve been dreaming about since you were a little girl.
So do something about it! A few weeks before the wedding make a list or schedule of items that need to be attended to the day before the wedding, and give it to the groom. It’s time for you and the girls to enjoy a day of relaxation. Go get a facial, manicure, body massage……..the works!!!
You will glow and be so relaxed. It’s a great piece of advice and a great excuse to get your bridesmaids together before your big day.
We have a list of terrific full service spas in our directory, so don’t wait, book today!
Portuguese Wedding Tradition
June 5, 2007
The following is one of many Portuguese wedding traditions, called the “Money Dance”.
The tradition behind this dance is that young men pay the bride for the privilege to dance with her. As the dance takes place, the bride’s shoe is passed around the dance floor and filled with money to signify a happy long life for the bride and groom.
If you know of any Portuguese wedding traditions, feel free to share them:)
